Cross Belt Sorter Overview

The equipment contains the operation and control of conveyors and sorters. Controlled by an integrated industrial computer and sorter controller, called FSC control. This controller replaces the traditional PLC to realize the electromechanical control of the sorting machine and its import and export conveyor.

FSC is VanDerLander's unique professional sorting machine and conveyor system controller. In addition to the system's basic program modules for confluence, divergence, introduction, sorting, etc., FSC can communicate with WCS via Ethernet based on TCP / IP protocol.

Cross Belt Sorter Main functions

The sorting machine and bar code reader are controlled by the FSC. After reading the bar code and transmitting it to the WCS, the FSC will sort the items to the relevant outlet according to the WCS sorting exit instruction.

After the sorting task is completed, the FSC sends a task completion report to the main control system.

In addition to normal data transmission functions, the FSC control system also has some specific functions:

・ Track and update objects on the system;

・ Start / stop system;

・ Energy saving;

・ Gradually stop;

・ Diagnosis fault indication;

・ External interface;

・ Troubleshoot (emergency braking, system overheating, jam detection, PPI encoder error).

Cross Belt Sorter User Management

Access to the system and its different functions is controlled according to different user accounts. The user level will operate different functions according to user groups (such as supervisor, operator, etc.).

Cross Belt Sorter Remote diagnostic support

The system has the function of supporting VPN remote access to realize remote fast connection diagnosis.

All the lines and equipment that the VPN presses in are provided by the customer. VPN lines and functions need to be in place and opened before commissioning.
